Britain now has the most under surveillance population in the word. Crime has increased dramatically whilst convictions has lowered since the rise of CCTV. However during the recent protests CCTV was used to extensively to control and contain protesters against the government. It's not about our safety its about spying on us!

When you look at it- really look at it, it seems that 1984 was more of a book of eerily accurate prophecies than anything else... Damn, I'm depressed!
